Exit the train with your bike in City of North Bay, also known as the Gateway to the North.

North Bay is situated on the shorelines of Lake Nipissing (the fourth largest lake in Ontario) and Trout Lake within city limits. With lakes and natural areas so close at hand your choices of recreational and sporting activities are vast.

Access a number of excellent cycle routes and trails, short distance and within the city, or long distance across the region.

Knowledgeable Bike Train staff are available onboard to provide cycling maps and useful information. Passengers join a community of travellers who are happy to share stories and anecdotes about their trip during the train journey.

ADULT:  $152 plus taxes Toronto - North Bay return.
CHILDREN 11 & UNDER:  $82 plus taxes Toronto - North Bay return.
Ticket price includes passenger seat, bicycle transport, map, t-shirt, and all and fees.

Total Price: $152 + 13%HST = $171.76

This year the Bike Train is offering self-guided feature itineraries. The itineraries include bicycle-friendly accommodations and activities including group rides, community events and local highlights.

Inn on the Bay:  $114 double room/night plus taxes (incl hot breakfast for 2)
Best Western North Bay:  $139 double room/night (incl taxes and hot breakfast or lunch for 2)
Clarion Resort Pinewood Park:  $137 double room/night plus taxes (incl hot break or lunch for 2)
Holiday Inn Express North Bay:  $139 double room/night plus taxes (includes hot breakfast for 2)

Cycling Info

City Trails Include:

The Kate Pace Way and the Kinsmen Trail: 17.5km of multi-use paved trails from one end of the city to the other. Perfect for cyclists of all ages and abilities!

Long Distance Rides*:

• Discovery Route's suggested routes
• Corbeil Circle Route : 50km
• The Powassan Circle Route: 100km
• Or let the open roads be your guide

*Itineraries feature paved roads or trails that are suitable for most bikes. The longer distance routes (ie. Powassan Circle Route) are for more experienced cyclists.
